Today marks an exciting milestone as Premium Restoration has acquired the Canstar Group of Companies, bringing together some of the most established restoration brands, experienced teams, and trusted customer relationships across Western Canada. This partnership represents a significant step forward in building a larger and stronger property restoration platform to serve customers and communities across Western Canada.

Premium recognizes the strength of Canstar’s 40-year history, the reputation it has built, the trust it has earned, and, most importantly, the quality of its people. Together, Premium Restoration, Canstar, Lydale, Universal, ABK, and NorHaz will combine decades of industry experience, complementary expertise, and established regional presence to create new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

As a Canadian-owned restoration company founded in 2006, Premium Restoration brings additional resources, operational support, and national connections through its partnership with the Emergency Mitigation and Restoration Group (EMRG). On September 11, Chad Kobzey, Director of Sales & Marketing at Canstar Restorations attended BC SPCA’s Animal Centre in Surrey to present Canstar’s donation cheque to Layla Gilhooly, Surrey Centre Manager.

Canstar is the Official Restoration Partner of the BC SPCA, a partnership that has been running for 6 years. Canstar contributes a portion of every project that they do, on behalf of the customers of insurance companies, property managers, and independent brokers. That contribution is matched with an equal donation and has totaled over $80,000 since the beginning of our partnership. The commitment to the BC SPCA is shared by Canstar’s 300 staff members, and those of its sister companies; ABK Restoration, NorHaz Solution and Universal Restoration. Fund raising goes beyond the partnership, from individual contributions to a portion of the company hockey pool.

Canstar is excited to continue this partnership with the BC SPCA as we look to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in BC.

Rob Alain from Canstar attended and immediately put our family at ease with his calm demeanor and obvious knowledge of these events. Rob immediately got the situation under control and started their process. Rob told me to call him anytime with any questions I had, which I did quite often.
