On September 11, Chad Kobzey, Director of Sales & Marketing at Canstar Restorations attended BC SPCA’s Animal Centre in Surrey to present Canstar’s donation cheque to Layla Gilhooly, Surrey Centre Manager.

Canstar is the Official Restoration Company of the BC SPCA, a partnership that has been running for 6 years. Canstar contributes a portion of every project that they do, on behalf of the customers of insurance companies, property managers, and independent brokers. That contribution is matched with an equal donation and has totaled over $80,000 since the beginning of our partnership. The commitment to the BC SPCA is shared by Canstar’s 300 staff members, and those of its sister companies; ABK Restoration, NorHaz Solution and Universal Restoration. Fund raising goes beyond the partnership, from individual contributions to a portion of the company hockey pool.

Canstar is excited to continue this partnership with the BC SPCA as we look to protect and enhance the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in BC.

Special shout out to Kathy’s contents crew, repair crew with Yash, Gary Charles & Harman. Restoration jobs are slow by nature, but in our experience they showed up when they said they would, were thorough and did really good work. In April we had a flood in our kitchen that also affected our family room and a downstairs bedroom. Rob Alain from Canstar attended and immediately put our family at ease with his calm demeanor and obvious knowledge of these events. Rob immediately got the situation under control and started their process. Rob told me to call him anytime with any questions I had, which I did quite often. Every time I called Rob he was very happy to take my call and did not make me feel that I was bothering him. Rob did a fantastic job getting this disaster fixed up in a timely fashion.
