Premium Restoration Acquires Canstar Group of Companies

Today marks an exciting milestone as Premium Restoration has acquired the Canstar Group of Companies, bringing together some of the most established restoration brands, experienced teams, and trusted customer relationships across Western Canada. This partnership represents a significant step forward in building a larger and stronger property restoration platform to serve customers and communities across Western Canada.

Premium recognizes the strength of Canstar’s 40-year history, the reputation it has built, the trust it has earned, and, most importantly, the quality of its people. Together, Premium Restoration, Canstar, Lydale, Universal, ABK, and NorHaz will combine decades of industry experience, complementary expertise, and established regional presence to create new opportunities for growth and collaboration.

As a Canadian-owned restoration company founded in 2006, Premium Restoration brings additional resources, operational support, and national connections through its partnership with the Emergency Mitigation and Restoration Group (EMRG). By bringing these organizations together, the combined group is creating a platform with greater scale, broader capabilities, stronger purchasing power, and access to the equipment, materials, subcontractors, and resources needed to deliver comprehensive restoration services when customers need them most.

Beyond expanded capabilities, this partnership creates opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen systems and processes, invest in people, and build on the individual strengths of each organization. The collective goal is to deliver an even more consistent, responsive, and comprehensive customer experience while positioning the combined organization for long-term success across Western Canada.
