Water Out® trailers head out across the country

This week saw trailers heading out of the Jackson, New Jersey Water Out Drying Corp office to existing Water Out® Service Providers and new members across the country. Steve Vyrostek of Water Out Phoenix received his fourth trailer on the job in Louisiana on Sunday where he is busy with the Hurricane Katrina restoration effort. Also this week, Cliff Ellis of Compleat Restorations will be adding a YD9000 Super-Dryer to his growing lineup of Water Out® equipment. Compleat Restorations joins Action Restoration (TX, MS, LA) and Water Out Southern New England in being among the first Water Out® Service Providers to own this heavy-duty drying machine. Action Restoration received the first YD9000 back in June and Water Out Southern New England will be receiving their own unit in the weeks to come.

Water Out® welcomes Canstar Restorations of British Columbia

Canstar Restorations of British Columbia, Canada becameour newest international Water Out® ServiceProvider this week with the purchase of their first Water Out® trailer and visit to the Water Out Drying Corp office in Jackson, New Jersey for their training. Jay Dargatz, President of Canstar Restorations, and his Operations Manager Art Johnson, joined us earlier this week and showed great enthusiasm for the future of Water Out® in British Columbia. Jay Dargatz and Canstar Restorations are well known and respected in the industry, and Art Johnson may be familiar to many of you as the author of numerous articles in such publications as Cleaning & Restoration Magazine. Art also holds the distinction of being the first certified Water Loss Specialist (WLI) in Western Canada. It was great to meet Jay and Art and we are thrilled to have them on board. Welcome Jay, Art, and the entire team at Canstar Restorations.

Water Out® welcomes Disaster Restoration Inc of Colorado

Water Out West Michigan on the job in Pensacola Beach, Florida

This week saw Michael Griggs of Disaster Restoration Inc receive his training and his first Water Out® trailer as well. Michael Griggs has long been an industry leader as the immediate past-president of the National Institute of Disaster Restoration and author of more than 30 nationally published articles. With offices in Denver, Glenwood Springs, Vail, Aspen and an international office in Korea, Disaster Restoration Inc should prove to be a great asset to the Water Out® network. It was great to have Michael out here and we are looking forward to great things from Disaster Restoration Inc / Water Out Denver. Welcome aboard!

Water Out West Michigan assists in Hurricane Katrina drying effort

Rick Anderson of Water Out West Michigan is just one of the many Water Out® Service Providers from around the country who are currently assisting in the massive restoration effort in the Gulf States. Rick sent us a photo this week from a project he completed in Pensacola Beach, Florida. Katrina’s storm surge covered the island with about four feet of water and piled sand against the sides of the buildings. Ambient conditions were near impossible for conventional equipment with temperatures into the low 90’s and humidity levels of 70%. The house was bone dry after three days with the Water Out® trailer.” Thank you for the great job and photograph, Rick. We are proud to have you and the rest of the Water Out® members participating in the unprecedented cleanup and dry-out.

Water Out® heading to Vegas for 2005 Connections Convention

Charles and Kelly Cressy will be heading out to Las Vegas, Nevada next week for the Annual Connections Convention. Held at the Las Vegas Hilton, the event will feature educational classes, a trade show, and a variety of speakers from September 22-25th. Water Out Drying Corp is sponsoring the event for the third year in a row, and Charles Cressy will be presenting on “Adding Value to your Business” during the Saturday session. Charles and Kelly will be joined by fellow Water Out® members Sally and Steve Vyrostek (Water Out Phoenix) and Sean Toyozaki (Water Out Las Vegas) at their booths (231-233 inside, 932 outside). The outside booth will feature a Water Out® trailer provided by Sean and Water Out Las Vegas so that attendees can experience the technology firsthand.
